  I went to Chantecleer, with my girlfriend, on Friday, February 13, 2009. We were showed to our seats, and as i sat sown I heard the man behind the bar tell one of the servers to not talk about something. A few minutes later I found out what they were talking about. I saw a bat flying around in the dining area of the restaurant. My girlfriend and I had to duck several times when the bat swooped down towards our heads. When I alerted the server about the bat she said I know. She asked if we had any questions, and we asked her if she was aware that bats carry all sorts of diseases, and how were we going to have a relaxing dinner with a bat flying around our heads? She said "It won't come down that low." and "It's up to you if you order." A few minutes later the bat did just that. Meanwhile there are four people who work at this establishment just watching. Not doing anything about the problem. I'm sorry but to pay $100.00 plus dollars for a dinner don't you think you could try to catch the bat with a net, or something. Instead they ignored the problem. My other concern is that if that is what you can see in the dinning area (bats do go to the bath room, and they won't care if it is in your Filet), then what exactly is going on in the kitchen that the diner can't see.
